A print I made for the 2024 SF Zinefest! It’s inspired by my various tattoo design work over the years. For the theme, I wanted to do something with lots of angel designs of course, with a lot of these inspired by various Old Testament creature mentions—Rahab, seraphim as serpents, etc—and some little reference to evolutionary creatures as well, like the tiktaalik and microraptor, which are some of my personal favorites. Of course, the hexagonal angels are my own little signature creatures that are not necessarily references to anything, but I always love to include as well.
I structured this sheet like a flash sheet, so anyone is free to use these designs for their own personal tattoos if they please! Just as usual, please credit me if you do so or share pictures of it!
