Azulin and Gordi from the film Unicorn Wars (2022). My friend screened this movie for us last year and I enjoyed it a lot! I always love a mixture of mythical and religious imagery, and detailed artwork with cartoony characters, and it delivered very well. It kind of reminded me of the graphic novels of Kerascoët, like Beautiful Darkness and Beauty, that combine gorgeous scenery and artwork with violence and interpersonal drama.
While watching, I was greatly reminded of the Proto-Indo-European creation myth, which also has a similar story and vibe, about twin brothers, about violence and sacrifice, and the creation of man, so I tried to do a picture that reflected that for me.
